Support Staffordshire and VAST are working with the Local Pharmaceutical Council to identify local voluntary organisations willing to become ‘Pharmacy Partners’. The role of Pharmacy Partners is to link to a named local Community Pharmacy and to support the Pharmacy to continue to deliver its services during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Over the past several weeks pharmacies are experiencing significant extra demand for their services which must be carried out under strict additional procedures. This is placing pressure on this important part of the healthcare workforce. Some pharmacies need delivery drivers, who must be DBS checked and trained, others need help within the pharmacy and some need both.

So we are looking for volunteers!
